Hanjiangwan Bridge's deck completed

汉江湾桥主桥贯通

    The last deck slab of the Hanjiangwan Bridge was smoothly connected on Jan. 11. The whole bridge is expected to open to traffic in May this year. The 2,754-meter-long and 47-meter-wide bridge is Wuhan's seventh highway bridge across the Han River. Located between the Zhiyin Bridge and the Gutian Bridge, it connects Hankou's Gutian Fourth Road with Hanyang's Yulong Road. After the completion of the bridge, a transportation network will be formed between Qiaokou, Jianghan, Dongxihu, and Hanyang districts, along with the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone.

1月11日，汉江湾桥主桥桥面实现贯通，距离今年5月通车目标又近一步。汉江湾桥是武汉第七座跨汉江的公路桥。桥梁位于知音桥和古田桥之间，汉口岸与古田四路相接，汉阳岸与玉龙路相接。工程全长2754米，建成后，将在硚口、江汉、东西湖、汉阳和武汉经开区之间形成便捷的交通网络。

Largest Shang-dynasty bronze casting workshop 

remains found in Wuhan

武汉发现长江中游流域最大商代铸铜遗址

    The large-scale remains of a bronze casting workshop dating back to the Shang dynasty (1600 B.C.-1046 B.C.) was found at Huangpi District of Wuhan, the Hubei Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau revealed recently. Also unearthed were wares, raw materials and fuel used in bronze casting. Experts identified the well-preserved ruins as the largest bronze casting workshop remains in the middle region of the Yangtze River basin, saying that it presents a complete process chain of bronze casting in the Shang dynasty.  

从湖北省文物考古研究所获悉，位于湖北黄陂的鲁台山郭元咀遗址发现了一处规模巨大的商代铸铜遗址，并出土大量熔铜器具、原料以及燃料等冶铸遗物。专家表示，这处遗址是长江中游地区近年规模最大、保存最完好的商代铸铜遗址，并呈现了一个拥有较完整手工业操作链的商代“铸铜生产作坊”。

All A-level scenic spots and cultural venues 

start to implement staggered visit system

       旅游景区和文化场馆全面实行分时预约 

    Starting from Jan. 12, all the A-level tourist attractions and cultural venues in Hubei, including those in Wuhan, began to implement a staggered admission system. Visitors to these places are requested to make reservations online in advance and arrange their trips in an orderly manner to avoid large gatherings. Visitors can make reservations via the app"游湖北" or WeChat applet "游湖北.”

湖北省文旅场所分时预约管理服务平台（以下简称“省预约平台”）于1月12日上线运行。包括武汉在内的全省A级旅游景区和文化场馆开始全面实行分时预约制度, 引导市民、游客“限量、预约、错峰”出行。。广大游客和观众可通过“游湖北”客户端或“游湖北”微信小程序，访问预约平台进行分时预约。

Wuhan on top 10 work destination list for returnees from abroad

海归最想就业城市，武汉排名前十

    Zhaopin.com, a Chinese online recruitment service provider, revealed in a report on overseas returnees’ job hunts after finishing their education abroad that the number of returnees for domestic jobs in 2020 has increased by 33.9% compared with 2019. Among them, 64.2% chose their work locations in 10 major cities, and over 30% chose to work in Beijing and Shanghai, the top two work places for the returness. Wuhan and other cities such as Chengdu, Nanjing, and Tiajin are also on the top-10 list because of their strong development potential and their preferential policies for talents.   

9日，智联招聘发布《2020中国海归就业创业调查报告》显示，2020年在国内求职的海归人数同比增长33.9%，10座城市吸纳了64.2%的海归就业需求，其中排名前二的北京、上海吸纳人才超3成。成都、南京、苏州、天津、武汉等城市，依靠较强的发展潜力与引才政策，跻身海归人才吸引力榜单前十。

Wuhan sees coldest early January in 10 years

武汉1月上旬10年同期最冷

    In the early morning of Jan. 8, the temperature in Wuhan dropped to -8.5℃, the lowest on record this winter. According to data collected by the Wuhan Meteorological Department, the lowest early January temperature ever recorded in Wuhan between 2011 and 2020 was -7.2℃ in 2013. The low temperature on Jan. 8 was thus the lowest ever recorded in early January over the past 10 years.

8日早间武汉的最低温达到-8.5℃，刷新今冬以来新纪录。市气象部门查阅历史气象数据，从2011年到2020年1月上旬，最低气温出现在2013年，仅为-7.2℃，武汉8日的气温更低，意味着这是最近10年最冷的一个1月上旬最低温。
