After the Lantern Festival, the following joyous celebration in China's traditional festival calendar is Huazhao Festival, a flower festival. From March 27 to May 30, the second Hankouli Huazhao Festival is being held at Wuhan Garden Expo.
春日武汉,全城花事盛大上演,也正好迎来元宵节后的“百花生日”——花朝节。从3月27日至5月30日,“汉口里第二届花朝节”活动在武汉园博园举行。

At the opening ceremony on March 27, hundreds of hanfu enthusiasts gathered at Hankouli and celebrated the festival. With a history of over 2,000 years, the Huazhao Festival is held to celebrate the birthday of the flower goddess. Since the climate varies in different parts of China, people hold celebrations as early as the 2nd, 12th, or 15th day of the second month in the Chinese lunar calendar.
在3月27日的开幕式上,数百名汉服爱好者齐聚汉口里,共庆花朝节。这项为庆祝花神生日的传统节日,迄今已有2000多年的历史,一般于农历二月初二、二月十二或二月十五举行。

On March 27, hanfu enthusiasts dressed in the Chinese traditional costumes of Han, Tang, Song and Ming dynasties and paraded at Hankouli. Finally twelve flower "goddesses" were selected from the parade and performed an ancient ceremony to pay tribute to the flower goddess during the Tomb-Sweeping Day Festival (April 3 to April 5).
3月27日是开幕活动,其中最吸睛的是“汉服方阵巡游”。汉服爱好者齐聚汉口里,或是身着汉、唐、宋、明各形制的汉服,骄傲展示汉服之美。清明小长假,在开幕活动中选出的“十二花神”姑娘们,身着传统汉服,展示“祭花神”古礼,贺百花生辰。

From March 27 to May 30, a Hundred-Flower Market consisting of 50 stalls is awaiting visitors during weekends and holidays. The stalls sell hand-made Chinese traditional items including hairpins, earrings, fans and lanterns.
在汉口里花朝节期间,每逢周末及节假日,“花朝集市”有近50家古风店主集体“出摊”。各种手工制作的花簪、步摇、耳环等首饰,还有团扇、花灯等古风小物,在这里都能找到。
