A special event promoting Hubei province was held by the Foreign Ministry in Beijing on the afternoon of April 12, catching the attention of the media and the public. Over 100 photos were on display at the ministry's Lanting, demonstrating Hubei's anti-epidemic achievement and revival as well as its potential opportunities and strengths.

• Shao Yuchun

During the epidemic prevention and control period, Shao Yuchun, deputy chief of Xincun Street Police Station of Jiangan District helped transport 87 patients to hospitals and assisted 53 others.

• Zhao Youzhi

On April 22, 2020, chef Zhao Youzhi was seen serving hot-and-dry noodles to customers at a noodle store in Liangdao Street as the city was regaining its vitality.
