The Wuhan Central Meteorological Observatory issued a red alert for rainstorms around noon on June 27. This has been the first red alert since the city entered the "plum rain season" this year.
6月27日中午武汉中心气象台发布最高级别的暴雨红色预警。这是武汉入梅以来首个暴雨红色预警。

Heavy rains and rainstorms hit most areas of Wuhan between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on June 27. Some parts of the city experienced exceptionally heavy downpours.

The Wuhan Flood Control and Drought Relief Office had deployed resources to deal with this sudden downpour and had the active support of all districts. Front-line workers were put in place in advance and worked overnight patrolling, guarding, cleaning and draining water. By 5 p.m. on June 27, water had subsided on all of the waterlogged sections of streets.
市防办提前部署,各区积极响应,一线人员到岗到位,连续作战,通宵巡查、值守、清捞、抽排。截至6月27日17时,全市所有路段渍水均已消退。

The rain belt shifted southward on June 28 and rainfall subsided in Wuhan. However, a second round of rainfall will soon follow as another precipitation is expected in the city between July 1 and 4. Please take precautions.
28日雨带南压,武汉降水减弱。但第二轮降雨紧随其后,7月1—4日,武汉又有一次降水过程。请市民注意防范。
