Wuhan firefighters head for Zhengzhou to help with disaster relief | 武汉力量驰援郑州

Heavy rains lashed Henan province on July 20, with provincial capital Zhengzhou being one of the hardest-hit areas. The Henan provincial flood control and drought relief headquarters activated the Level I emergency response to the floods at 3 a.m., July 21.

7月20日,河南省遭遇极端强降雨,郑州等城市发生严重内涝。7月21日凌晨3时,河南省防汛抗旱指挥部将防汛应急响应级别提升为Ⅰ级。

Because of the torrential rainfall, more than 100 trains from Wuhan to Zhengzhou, Xi'an, and Beijing were suspended on July 21. Passengers who have purchased tickets for those trains can refund them within 30 days. In addition, five of the flights to Zhengzhou from all over the country had to divert to Wuhan because of the rain-triggered disaster.

受暴雨影响,7月21日,武汉前往郑州、西安、北京等方向的100多趟列车都停运了。已购停运列车车票的旅客,可于30日内办理退票手续。全国各地飞往郑州的航班有5班备降武汉。

Early on July 21, the Wuhan fire rescue detachment mobilized 167 firefighters and 29 fire engines to help Henan province in combating the floods. The Blue Sky Rescue Wuhan Branch and the Yangtze River Rescue Volunteer Team have also sent rescue teams to help with disaster relief work.

7月21日,武汉市消防救援支队调集167名消防指战员、29辆消防车驰援河南,参与当地抗洪抢险工作。此外,武汉蓝天救援队、长江救援队也都向河南派出了救援队伍。
