On July 26, the Ministry of Commerce announced the list of the second batch of national demonstration pedestrian streets. Six roads were included, namely Wuhan's Jianghan Road pedestrian street, Beijing's Wangfujing Street, Tianjin's Jinjie Street, Shanghai's Nanjing Road, Shenyang's Zhongjie Street and Guangzhou's Beijing Road.

7月26日，商务部公布第二批全国示范步行街名单，武汉江汉路、北京王府井、天津金街、上海南京路、沈阳中街、广州北京路这6条步行街被确认为第二批“全国示范步行街”。

After more than 170 days of upgrading and renovation, Jianghan Road pedestrian street, a century-old commercial street, reopened to the public in 2020. Its selection this year is considered a powerful push for Wuhan's post-epidemic economic revitalization and future sustainable development, as well as a boost in accelerating the construction of Wuhan into an international consumption center.

2020年，历时170余天的封街改造后，百年商业老街江汉路步行街向市民重新开放。此次成功入选，是武汉疫后经济重振并持续发展、加快建设国际消费中心城市的强大助力。

Shanghai Sanlian Readway bookstore located its first store in Central China on Jianghan Road this year. A person in charge of the bookstore said that they chose Jianghan Road because its profound pedestrian street culture was in line with the brand positioning and business characteristics of the bookstore. The selection of Jianghan Road is a modern illustration of its century-old reputation.

将华中首店落子江汉路的上海三联READWAY相关负责人表示，选择江汉路是因为其底蕴深厚的步行街文化符合READWAY一贯的品牌定位和经营特色。而此次江汉路的入选，更是对其百年美誉的现代化阐述。
