Wuhan's main streets and roads such as the Optics Valley Square, Xinhua Road, and Zhongshan Avenue took on a grand red "outfit" look featuring bright Chinese national flags hanging over these places. Against the backdrop of a blue sky and white clouds, the flags present a most beautiful street scene. During the National Day holiday, over 100 exciting activities will be held and 92 cultural performances staged.

光谷广场、新华路口、中山大道……武汉的主次干道穿上了“中国红”新装。鲜艳的五星红旗映衬着蓝天白云，成为街头最美的风景线。国庆长假期间，100+精彩活动、92场文艺演出轮番开启。

A Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket, assembled in Wuhan, was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center at 2:19 p.m. on Sept. 27, lifting the Jilin-1 Gaofen 02D satellite into the planned orbit.

2021年9月27日14时19分，“汉产”快舟一号甲固体运载火箭在酒泉卫星发射中心点火升空，将吉林一号高分02D卫星送入预定轨道，发射任务取得圆满成功。

China Theater Festival to come

中国戏剧节首次花落武汉

The 17th China Theater Festival will take place in Wuhan for the first time ever between Oct. 9 and 28 with 31 plays from 23 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across China.

10月9日至28日，第十七届中国戏剧节将首次在武汉举办，来自全国23个省、直辖市和自治区的31台剧目将在武汉亮相。

Wuhan ranks second in international communication influence

中国城市国际传播影响力排名武汉列第二

On Sept. 28, people.cn reported that Wuhan ranked second on the list of the 2021 "International Communication Influence of Chinese Cities" according to the "City International Communication Influence Index" released by the College of Media and International Culture of Zhejiang University on Sept. 25.

28日人民网报道，据25日浙江大学传媒与国际文化学院发布的《中国城市国际传播影响力指数（2021）》，武汉位列2021年“中国城市国际传播影响力”榜单第二。

Hubei Capital Conference for High Quality Development held

湖北高质量发展资本大会在汉开幕

The 2021 Hubei Capital Conference for High Quality Development was held at the Wuhan International Convention Center on Sept. 28. Twelve projects were signed onsite, with a total amount of over RMB 31 billion.

9月28日，2021湖北高质量发展资本大会在武汉国际会议中心开幕。12个项目现场签约，总规模311.05亿元。

Hubei, Jiangxi and Hunan join hands in developing tourism brands

长江中游三省在汉结盟打造旅游品牌

A tourism cooperation alliance of three provinces in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River — Hubei, Jiangxi and Hunan — was established on Sept. 27. Concurrently, a launch ceremony to boost tourism consumption in these three provinces was held at the Yellow Crane Tower scenic spot. During the ceremony, three famous towers in China — the Yellow Crane Tower in Hubei, the Yueyang Tower in Hunan and the Tengwang Pavilion in Jiangxi — were illuminated at the same time.

27日19时，长江中游三省旅游合作发展联盟成立暨旅游消费大联动启动仪式在武汉黄鹤楼景区举行。黄鹤楼、岳阳楼、滕王阁同时被点亮。

Selected Dunhuang murals exhibition unveiled

A public exhibition of selected Dunhuang murals opened on Sept. 28 at the Changjiang Civilization Museum, a part of a series of activities to welcome the upcoming first China (Wuhan) Culture and Tourism Expo. The exhibition runs until Dec. 28.

9月28日，作为迎接中国首届文化旅游博览会落地武汉的系列活动之一——“敦煌壁画艺术精品公益巡展”在长江文明馆开幕。该展览将持续到12月28日。
