Districts in Wuhan have started administering booster doses of vaccine to residents to strengthen their immunity to COVID-19. Those targeted for a third dose are people aged 18 and above who received two doses of inactivated coronavirus vaccine or one dose of adenovirus vector vaccine at least six months ago. People eligible for vaccination may go to nearby vaccination sites for details. While ensuring booster rollouts among priority population, the city is working to ensure all people who are eligible and willing to receive the third dose have access to it.
目前武汉各区已陆续启动新冠病毒疫苗加强免疫接种工作，18岁及以上人群完成两剂次灭活疫苗或一剂次腺病毒载体疫苗，接种满6个月，可前往就近的接种点咨询接种。在确保重点人群“应接尽接”的基础上，对其他符合条件且有接种需要的人群“愿接尽接”。

根据国内外研究结果来看，新冠疫苗在预防感染、减少发病方面发挥了很大作用。不过，新冠疫苗与其他疫苗一样，接种一段时间后，有保护效果减弱的情况存在，加强免疫后，则会使这种下降出现“强势反弹”，产生更高的抗体保护。
Currently, vaccines include inactivated coronavirus vaccines manufactured by the Beijing Institute of Biological Products Co. Ltd., Sinovac Life Sciences Co. Ltd., and the Wuhan Institute of Biological Products Co. Ltd., as well as the adenovirus vector vaccine manufactured by CanSino Biologics Inc. Experts warn that people should get the same type of booster as their last shot.
目前，可用于实施加强免疫接种的疫苗包括国药中生北京公司、北京科兴公司、国药中生武汉公司的灭活疫苗和天津康希诺公司的腺病毒载体疫苗。专家提醒，加强免疫针剂种类要与上次接种的保持一致。
